Therapist (Coeur d’Alene/Sandpoint)

Overview

Echo Springs Transitional Study Center is a unique organization that empowers young adults to create independent, effect and product lives. Our team is seeking an experienced and creative clinician ready to join a dynamic team of talented professionals in North Idaho. As a co-ed, young adult transitional living organization, we’ve been serving families for over 20 years. Echo Springs provides time-tested, evidence based transitional living services and experiential therapies for young adults. Echo Springs is seeking a multi-talented team player eager to join our professional community who values collaboration, compassion, innovation, and balance. Our clinicians play an integral role in shaping our community. The successful candidate will have excellent communication and organizational skills, and ability to provide effective case review and treatment planning. Echo Springs is a hands-on, relationships centered therapeutic milieu that celebrates diversity in thinking and problem solving. There are abundant opportunities to create therapeutic experiences for students and families as well as be an important resource for mentoring and training of our direct-care team.

Responsibilities

Manage an average caseload of 8-10 clients

Weekly individual, family, and group therapy

Collaboration with referring professionals and treatment team

Assessment, intervention and timely documentation

Team-player. Experientially-based.

Qualifications

Master’s degree in counseling-related field

License or license eligible in Idaho

Experience working with young adults and families

Experience with DBT, Experiential Therapy, or Exposure Therapy.

Excellent leadership skills, strong communication skills, and must be creative with excellent problem-solving skills

Committed to a team approach with all departments and value collaboration and innovation.

Must be able to pass a Background Criminal Investigation

Must hold a valid driver’s license with clean driving record

Monday to Friday schedule with some on-call weekends and evening. Salaried position.
